3. Collaborate with other school staff to ensure that students with special needs receive a comprehensive education.
4. Develop and maintain relationships with local community organizations and agencies that provide support for students with special needs.
5. Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of school policies and procedures related to special education.
6. Monitor student progress and make recommendations for accommodations and modifications as needed.
7. Collaborate with teachers to develop lesson plans and instructional strategies that meet the needs of students with special needs.
Required Qualifications
The successful candidate will hold a degree in Education or a related field and have a minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with special needs. A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is required. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET).
