Day-to-Day Duties
- Conduct Biology classes for students from Class 6 to 10, using a variety of pedagogical approaches and digital tools.
- Design and develop lesson plans that integrate technology, incorporating tools like smart boards, Google Classroom, and LMS.
- Use educational software and digital resources to create interactive lessons and activities.
- Develop and maintain a Biology laboratory, ensuring that equipment and materials are in good working order.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives, including the use of technology in the classroom.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance digital literacy and teaching skills.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessment results.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, using digital tools to facilitate communication.
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must possess a postgraduate degree in Biology, along with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). A valid Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) certification is not mandatory for this position, but preferred.
