Role Summary

Day-to-Day Duties
Plan and deliver Social Science lessons aligned with the NCERT curriculum for middle school. Use maps, timelines, and case studies to make history and civics relatable. Differentiate instruction through group work, visual aids, and real-life examples.
Assess student understanding through regular quizzes, projects, and class discussions. Provide timely feedback and maintain records of academic progress. Organize field trips or guest sessions to connect textbook knowledge with local realities.
Support learners with special needs through simplified notes, extra time, and peer mentoring. Collaborate with counselors and parents to address individual challenges. Integrate values of inclusivity and respect in every classroom interaction.
Eligibility Criteria
Postgraduate degree in Social Science or related discipline with minimum 55% marks. B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a recognized institution. Teaching experience of at least three years in a middle school setting.
TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with CCE and activity-based learning is desirable.
