Job Summary
Seth M. R. Jaipuria School in Fatehpur Sadar is looking for a full‑time TGT Social Science Teacher. The role involves delivering the Social Science curriculum to classes VI‑XII and fostering a lively learning environment for students in Uttar Pradesh.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and conduct engaging Social Science lessons that align with the prescribed NCERT syllabus, using a mix of lectures, discussions and project work.
Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, providing timely feedback and remedial support where needed.
Collaborate with department heads and fellow teachers to design interdisciplinary activities and school events that connect history, geography, civics and economics.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades and classroom resources, and contribute to parent‑teacher meetings when required.
Participate in school development programmes, staff training and continuous professional development initiatives.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Post‑graduate degree in Social Science or a related discipline, complemented by a B.Ed or D.El.Ed.
Minimum two years of teaching experience at the secondary level, preferably in a co‑educational setting.
TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong command of English and Hindi, with the ability to explain concepts clearly to diverse learners.
Proficiency in using digital tools and smart classroom technologies to enhance instruction.
Skills and Attributes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with students, parents and colleagues.
Ability to create inclusive lessons that cater to varied learning styles and abilities.

Salary
The position offers a monthly remuneration of Rs.20,000 – Rs.35,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
