Job Summary
Lps Global School requires an Estate Manager to oversee the maintenance, security and overall upkeep of the school campus in Sadar, Gautam Buddha Nagar. The role involves coordinating with vendors, managing facility budgets and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations of school buildings, playgrounds, laboratories and parking areas.
- Conduct regular inspections, schedule repairs and monitor the condition of electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems.
- Liaise with contractors for construction, renovation and preventive maintenance works.
- Maintain records of assets, inventory and maintenance schedules, and prepare monthly reports for senior management.
- Ensure that the campus adheres to fire safety, health and environmental norms set by local authorities.
- Manage security staff, access control systems and visitor protocols to safeguard students and staff.
- Coordinate waste management and sustainability initiatives in line with school policies.
Qualifications
Post‑graduate degree in Business Administration, Facility Management, or a related field. B.Ed/D.El.Ed is not required as this is a non‑teaching role.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in estate or facilities management, preferably in an educational or institutional setting.
Preferred Skills
- Strong organisational and supervisory abilities.
- Knowledge of local building codes and safety standards.
- Proficiency in budgeting and vendor negotiations.
- Good communication skills to interact with school administration, staff and external service providers.
