Reporting and scope
This position reports directly to the school’s principal for curriculum coordination and classroom management.
Core duties
Teaching NTT-specified Evs modules with a focus on practical, experiential learning.
Developing lesson plans that integrate local environmental issues, such as air pollution in Delhi-NCR, into classroom discussions.
Organizing school-wide events like tree plantation drives, waste recycling campaigns, and awareness fairs.
Collaborating with science and social studies teachers to ensure seamless interdisciplinary learning.
Assessing student understanding through projects, quizzes, and real-world problem-solving tasks.
Ensuring compliance with The Infinity School’s policies on sustainable practices in the campus.
Qualification and experience
A graduate degree with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory for this role. A TET/CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory.
At least two years of teaching experience, preferably in schools with a focus on environmental education or science subjects.
Strong communication skills to engage students and parents in discussions about environmental responsibility.
Ability to adapt teaching methods for diverse learning needs, especially in an urban setting like Dadri.
Compensation and location
The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary of Rs.20,000 to Rs.35,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
