- Deliver engaging Geography lessons to classes 9 and 10, incorporating local and global case studies.
- Prepare lesson plans aligned with the Uttar Pradesh syllabus and update student workbooks.
- Assess student progress through quizzes and provide timely feedback.
- Maintain classroom discipline and encourage interactive discussions.
Regular responsibilities across the academic cycle
- Coordinate with fellow teachers to integrate Geography topics into interdisciplinary projects.
- Conduct field visits to nearby natural sites, facilitating experiential learning.
- Organise science and geography fairs, preparing students for competitive examinations.
- Update the school’s geography resource bank, adding recent maps and digital tools.
Periodic responsibilities
- Lead the annual Earth Day celebration, arranging presentations and community outreach.
- Mentor junior teachers during induction, sharing best practices for curriculum delivery.
- Participate in curriculum review committees, recommending updates for the next academic year.
Qualification and experience
Post‑graduate degree in Geography required. B.Ed or D.El.Ed mandatory; TET/CTET preferred. Minimum of 2 years teaching experience at the PGT level.
Salary and location
Competitive package ranging from Rs.40,000 to Rs.70,000 per month. Position based in Sadar, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh at St. Xaviers High School | Greater Noida.
