- Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to students, parents, and the school administration.
- Prepare students for mathematics board exams, providing guidance on exam strategies and time management techniques.
- Develop and implement assessment tools to evaluate student performance in mathematics.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives for mathematics education.
- Provide guidance and support to students in career development, helping them to explore opportunities in mathematics and related fields.
- Participate in departmental meetings to discuss curriculum development, assessment policies, and other relevant issues.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and other relevant data.
- Engage with parents to keep them informed about their child's progress and to seek their support in their child's education.
Eligibility
- Post-graduate degree in Mathematics (M.Sc.) with a minimum of 55% marks.
- B.Ed. degree from a recognized university.
- NET/SET in Mathematics (optional).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in teaching mathematics at the senior secondary level.
- Proficiency in teaching mathematics using a variety of instructional methods and technologies.
Preferred Skills
- Strong knowledge of mathematics curriculum and pedagogy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
