About This Role
We are seeking a qualified PGT Music Teacher to join our team at Sarla Chopra Dav Public School. As a PGT Music Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching music to students from classes 9 to 12. You will also be required to prepare students for the board exams and participate in various co-curricular activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver music lessons to students from classes 9 to 12
- Prepare students for board exams in music
- Conduct co-curricular activities related to music
- Develop and implement music curriculum
- Mentor junior music teachers
- Attend parent-teacher meetings and communicate with parents
- Participate in school events and competitions
- Maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment
- Collaborate with other teachers to plan and execute school events
Eligibility
To be eligible for this role, you must have a postgraduate degree in music (M.A. in Music or equivalent) and a B.Ed. degree. You must also have a strong background in music and teaching experience. CTET/TET certification is not mandatory but preferred.
