Role Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum ownership: Develop and implement English curriculum for classes VI to XII, ensuring alignment with NCERT guidelines.
- Mentoring junior staff: Guide and support newly appointed English teachers in developing their teaching skills and classroom management.
- Board results: Ensure 100% pass percentage in English at the board level.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions: Organize regular workshops and training sessions for English teachers to improve their teaching methodologies.
- Collaborate with senior management: Work closely with the Principal and Vice Principal to plan and implement school-wide initiatives.
- Lesson planning and delivery: Design and deliver engaging English lessons for students, incorporating various teaching methods and resources.
- Assessment and evaluation: Develop and administer regular quizzes, tests, and assignments to assess student progress and understanding.
- English department management: Supervise and manage the English department, including teacher supervision and student support.
- Parent-teacher communication: Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress and address their concerns.
- School events: Participate in and contribute to school events, such as literary festivals, debates, and elocution competitions.
Who Can Apply
Applicants must have a B.Ed. degree and at least 5 years of teaching experience. A NET or SET qualification is preferred but not essential. The ideal candidate should have a strong academic record, excellent communication skills, and a passion for teaching English.
