We are seeking a dedicated and passionate PRT Computer Science Teacher to join our faculty at Sarla Chopra Dav Public School. As a Computer Science Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching computer science to classes from VI to XII, developing and implementing engaging lesson plans, and assessing student progress. Your primary focus will be on creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters a love for computer science among our students.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for computer science classes from VI to XII.
2. Teach computer science concepts to students, ensuring that they understand and apply theoretical knowledge in practical situations.
3. Assess student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and adapting teaching strategies accordingly.
4. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities that integrate computer science with other subjects.
6. Stay updated on the latest developments in computer science, incorporating new technologies and methodologies into teaching practices.
7. Provide support and guidance to students outside regular class hours, as needed.
8. Participate in school-wide initiatives and events, promoting computer science education and awareness among parents and the wider community.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this role, candidates must possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree in Computer Science or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in computer science is required, with a strong understanding of computer science concepts and pedagogy. Familiarity with TET/CTET guidelines is preferred but not mandatory.
