PRT Social Science Teacher Job in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh
About This Role
Amity International School is looking for a dedicated PRT Social Science Teacher for its Sadar campus in Gautam Buddha Nagar. The role focuses on teaching Social Science to students in grades 1 to 5 using interactive methods. You will create engaging lesson plans, conduct classroom activities, and maintain discipline while communicating with parents regularly.
Key Responsibilities
Plan weekly Social Science lessons aligned with the school’s activity-based curriculum.
Use storytelling, worksheets, and demonstrations to explain historical and geographical concepts.
Organize field trips and project work that connect classroom learning to local surroundings.
Assess student understanding through quizzes, group discussions, and simple written tasks.
Prepare students for regional cultural events and participation in school assemblies.
Maintain classroom records, attendance, and progress notes in soft copy.
Collaborate with other PRT teachers to integrate subjects like EVS and English.
Attend staff meetings and participate in teacher training programs as needed.
Who Can Apply
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, History, Geography, or related field
D.El.Ed or B.Ed from a recognized Indian institution
Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in primary Social Science
Familiarity with primary-level Social Science syllabus and teaching aids
Good to Have
CTET or TET qualified
Experience in activity-based learning and student-centered teaching
Knowledge of local history and cultural context in Uttar Pradesh
Preferred Skills
Strong communication in Hindi and English
Ability to design simple worksheets and visual aids
Patience and creativity in handling young learners
Willingness to engage with parents and local community
Salary and Benefits
No bar for deserving candidates
Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 60,000 per month based on qualification and experience
In-house training, annual increments, and festival bonuses
