Introduction

Responsibilities
1. Design and implement a comprehensive swimming curriculum aligned with school objectives.
2. Manage daily pool operations, ensuring safety standards and equipment maintenance.
3. Coordinate inter‑school meets, representing Delhi Public School and fostering community ties.
4. Lead a team of assistant coaches, providing mentorship and performance evaluations.
5. Develop training plans for competitive swimmers, monitoring progress and setting targets.
6. Liaise with school leadership to integrate swimming activities into broader health and wellness initiatives.
7. Organize workshops for students and parents on water safety and nutrition.
8. Maintain accurate records of athlete performance, attendance, and incident reports.
Qualifications
A graduate with at least three years of coaching experience is required. B.Ed or D.El.Ed is preferred for understanding school administration, while TET/CTET credentials are an advantage. Strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a passion for student development are essential. Experience in managing a swimming facility and conducting competitive events is mandatory.
Salary
The role offers a competitive remuneration of Rs.24,000 – Rs.40,000 per month, commensurate with experience and performance.
