Job Description
TGT Chemistry Teacher Job in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh | School Recruitment
Role Summary
Delhi Public School, Gautam Buddha Nagar, runs a digital-first Chemistry lab where smart boards, cloud labs, and student tablets are used daily. The TGT Chemistry Teacher will plan daily lessons that blend hands-on experiments with virtual simulations on PhET and Labster. The school expects every class to end with a quick Google Forms quiz and a follow-up assignment posted in Google Classroom.
Pedagogy and Tools
Lessons are delivered through a flipped-classroom model with pre-loaded videos on the school’s LMS. Smart boards display 3D molecular models during bonding concepts and real-time pH meter readings from Vernier probes. Weekly blended sessions combine in-person group work with synchronous Zoom discussions for revision.
What You Will Do
Create weekly lesson plans that map NCERT Chemistry topics to CBSE blueprints and embed at least two digital activities per chapter. Record short concept videos using a classroom iPad and upload them to the LMS before each unit starts. Run virtual titration simulations on Labster so students can repeat experiments outside school hours.
Grade digital lab reports submitted via Google Docs and provide inline comments within 24 hours. Organise weekend doubt-clearing sessions on Microsoft Teams for students who need extra help. Curate a shared Google Drive folder of past five-year CBSE Chemistry papers with model solutions for self-assessment. Coordinate with the IT team to troubleshoot student logins and LMS access issues during class hours. Attend monthly tech training workshops to stay updated on new chemistry apps and extensions. Collaborate with the math and physics departments to design STEM projects that integrate Chemistry concepts.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Chemistry with minimum 55% marks from a recognised Indian university. B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from an NCTE-recognised institution. State TET or CTET pass certificate is preferred but not mandatory.
Preferred Skills
Fluency in Google Workspace tools, especially Google Classroom, Forms, and Jamboard. Experience using PhET simulations, Labster, and Vernier probeware in classroom settings. Comfortable guiding students through troubleshooting minor device issues during online activities.
Salary and Benefits
Fixed monthly salary between Rs.25,000 and Rs.45,000 based on qualifications and experience. Annual performance-linked increments as per school policy. Free transport for staff within Gautam Buddha Nagar limits.
