How You Will Teach

Key Responsibilities
You will plan and deliver Dance lessons for classes 6 to 10, ensuring alignment with the school’s academic calendar and co-curricular activities. Organizing annual dance competitions, cultural fests, and inter-house events will be part of your role. Collaborating with music and art teachers to create interdisciplinary projects is expected.
You will prepare students for school performances, inter-school competitions, and examinations. Maintaining records of student attendance, progress, and assessment scores is required. Assisting in the purchase and upkeep of dance equipment and costumes is also your responsibility.
Eligibility
You must hold a postgraduate degree in Dance or related fields such as M.A. or M.Sc in Dance from a recognized university. A B.Ed or M.Ed with a Dance specialization is preferred. Prior experience of at least 3 years in teaching Dance at the school level is necessary.
Skills We Value
Proficiency in Bharatanatyam, Kathak, or contemporary dance forms is essential. Strong communication skills in Hindi and English are required for classroom instruction and parent interactions. Ability to choreograph group performances and manage large classes is important.
