Key Responsibilities
1. Plan, develop, and deliver English language lessons to students of various skill levels.
2. Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods to meet individual needs.
3. Develop and implement English language curricula and assessments.
4. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide English language initiatives.
6. Monitor and maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
7. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student performance.
8. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay updated on best practices in English language teaching.
Eligibility Criteria
A postgraduate degree in English or a related field is required. A B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree is also necessary. Preference will be given to candidates who possess a TET or CTET certification. A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a similar role is also required.
