Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver Social Science lessons to students in grades 6-10, using a range of teaching methods and technologies to engage students and promote conceptual understanding.
- Design and implement assessments to evaluate student learning, using a combination of formative and summative assessments to track progress.
- Use technology to create engaging lessons, including multimedia content, online quizzes, and interactive activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the Social Science curriculum, including periodic assessments and academic coordination.
- Use data and analytics to inform teaching practices and improve student outcomes.
- Develop and maintain a positive classroom environment that promotes respect, responsibility, and inclusivity.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to keep them informed about student progress.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices in Social Science education.

- A post-graduate degree in Social Science or a related field
- A B.Ed. or equivalent qualification
