Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate TGT Social Science Teacher to join our faculty at Modern School in Gautam Buddha Nagar. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Social Science subjects to students from Class VI to VIII, and will contribute to the development of the school's curriculum and teaching practices.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Social Science subjects to students from Class VI to VIII
* Develop and implement effective assessment strategies to evaluate student learning
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the school's curriculum and teaching practices
* Provide individualized support and guidance to students to help them achieve their academic goals
* Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities to stay updated on best practices in Social Science education
* Use technology to enhance teaching and learning, and to communicate with students and parents
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth
* Develop and maintain relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a smooth and effective learning experience
* Participate in extracurricular activities and events to promote the school's mission and values
Eligibility Criteria
* Postgraduate degree in Social Science or related field
* B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree required; TET/CTET preferred
* 3 years of experience in teaching Social Science subjects to students from Class VI to VIII
* Strong knowledge of Social Science curriculum and teaching practices
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
