TGT Social Science Teacher Job in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh | School Recruitment
At Sks World School, the Social Science classroom is not just a place for lessons but a space where young minds connect with the past and shape their view of the future. Our Sadar campus thrives on the energy of teachers who bring history, geography, and civics to life through stories, debates, and project work. The school community here is close-knit—teachers, students, and parents work together like one extended family.
What it's like to work here
Sks World School encourages teachers to experiment with teaching methods beyond textbooks. You’ll find support for field trips to local heritage sites in Gautam Buddha Nagar and beyond. Professional development is personal—attend workshops or share your ideas in small group discussions with colleagues. The leadership team listens when teachers suggest changes that improve learning for students.
Your role in the community
Plan and deliver engaging Social Science lessons for middle school classes, aligning with the CBSE framework.
Organize monthly heritage walks in and around Sadar to help students see history around them.
Coordinate with the school librarian to update the Social Science section with age-appropriate books and journals.
Collaborate with art and language teachers to create cross-subject projects on Indian culture and global connections.
Prepare students for inter-school quizzes and debates focused on Social Science themes.
Maintain accurate attendance and assessment records using the school’s digital platform.
Participate in PTMs and community outreach programs twice each term.
Contribute to the school magazine by writing short pieces or guiding students in creating Social Science content.
Who fits in here
A postgraduate in Social Science with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed is essential. Prior experience of at least three years in a middle school environment is preferred. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, familiarity with CBSE Social Science curriculum adds value. You should be comfortable speaking Hindi and English in class. A patient, curious, and inclusive nature helps students from diverse backgrounds feel welcome.
What you get
The Social Science Teacher Vacancy in Gautam Buddha Nagar offers a full-time salary between Rs.25,000 and Rs.50,000 per month based on qualifications and experience. Enjoy a generous leave policy, in-house training sessions, and access to a well-stocked resource centre. Staff transport is available for trips within Gautam Buddha Nagar limits.
How to become part of the team
Share your resume, a short note on your teaching philosophy, and two references with the HR office at Sks World School. Include your B.Ed/D.El.Ed certificate and Social Science mark sheets. Selected candidates will meet the principal and department head for a classroom demonstration and conversation about local teaching needs.
