Academic Counsellor Job in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh | School Vacancy
Job Overview
As a key member of the Delhi Public School Siddharth Vihar team, the Academic Counsellor will play a pivotal role in supporting students, parents, and teachers in our vibrant community. The Academic Counsellor will provide guidance, leadership, and support to students, helping them navigate academic and personal challenges.
What You Will Do
* Develop and implement academic counselling programs to support student success
* Collaborate with teachers to identify students who require additional support or guidance
* Provide individual and group counselling sessions to students, parents, and teachers
* Conduct workshops and training programs to enhance student learning and well-being
* Foster relationships with local community organizations to access resources and support for students
* Develop and maintain relationships with parents to keep them informed about their child's progress
* Participate in school events and activities to promote a positive and supportive school culture
* Collaborate with the administration to develop and implement school policies and procedures
* Maintain accurate records and reports on student progress and counselling services
Required Qualifications
* Postgraduate degree in a related field (MA, MSc, MEd)
* B.Ed/D.El.Ed (B.Ed/D.El.Ed or equivalent)
* Experience in academic counselling, student services, or a related field (4+ years)
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
* Familiarity with TET/CTET (TET/CTET certification preferred, but not required)
