Job Overview
Delhi Public School, Modinagar is urgently seeking a highly qualified and experienced PGT Chemistry Teacher to join our team immediately. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Chemistry to students from Class 6 to 12.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Prepare and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons to students of Class 6 to 12
- Develop and implement curriculum-aligned lesson plans and assessments
- Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to students
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement interdisciplinary projects
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture
- Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development opportunities
Eligibility Criteria
- Postgraduate degree in Chemistry or a related field (M.Sc/M.A.)
- B.Ed/ D.El.Ed. required for teaching positions
- TET/CTET preferred but not mandatory
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting
- Strong subject knowledge and teaching skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Perks and Pay
We offer a competitive salary of Rs.50,000 - Rs.80,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience. The salary is negotiable for strong candidates. In addition, we offer a range of benefits, including paid leaves, medical insurance, and career development opportunities.
