Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and deliver lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations for Economics classes.
- Use technology, such as smart boards and Google Classroom, to enhance teaching and learning.
- Develop and implement project-based learning activities to promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Conduct regular assessments and provide feedback to students to improve their understanding of Economics concepts.
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop and implement departmental plans and policies.
- Mentor junior teachers and provide guidance on teaching Economics.
- Participate in academic planning and coordination to ensure smooth implementation of school policies.
- Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and motivation.
- Communicate with parents and guardians through regular progress reports and parent-teacher meetings.
- Conduct parent-teacher conferences to discuss student progress and set goals for improvement.
Eligibility
- Post-graduate degree in Economics or a related field.
- B.Ed or equivalent teaching certification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a PGT Economics Teacher in a recognized school.
- Strong understanding of Economics concepts and their application in real-world scenarios.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
