Day-to-Day Duties
- Prepare and deliver lessons on English literature and language to classes 9 to 12
- Use smart boards and digital tools to create engaging and interactive lessons
- Manage and maintain student progress through our LMS
- Use Google Classroom to share resources and assignments with students
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of student progress
- Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide English language programs
- Use data analytics to inform instructional decisions
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching and learning
- Perform other duties as assigned by the school administration
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this position, you must have a Bachelor's degree in English or a related field, and a B.Ed./D.El.Ed. degree. You must also have at least 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting. TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
