PGT Geography Teacher Responsibilities at Khaitan World School
Teach Geography at the senior secondary level, ensuring alignment with the latest CBSE syllabus and curriculum guidelines. Design and deliver engaging lesson plans that incorporate modern teaching methods, including visual aids, case studies, and interactive discussions.
Facilitate hands-on learning through field trips, mapping exercises, and data analysis projects to deepen student understanding of geographical concepts. Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress, attendance, and participation in line with school policies.
Prepare and grade assessments, including exams and continuous evaluation tests, to measure student performance and provide constructive feedback. Collaborate with the Geography faculty to refine teaching strategies and share best practices for improving student outcomes.
Key Eligibility and Requirements
Hold a postgraduate degree in Geography or a related field with a minimum of two years of relevant teaching experience. Possess a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) as per the school’s requirements.
Ensure compliance with the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) standards for certification in Uttar Pradesh. Demonstrate expertise in teaching geographical concepts, including physical, human, and environmental geography, with a focus on real-world applications.
