PGT Political Science Teacher Job in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh at Khaitan Public School, Sahibabad.
Teach Political Science to students in Class 9 to 12. Design and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum while ensuring conceptual clarity. Use interactive methods to explain theories, case studies, and current affairs relevant to the syllabus.
Prepare and assess regular and end-term examinations to evaluate students’ understanding of political systems, governance, and international relations. Maintain detailed records of student performance and provide constructive feedback.
Collaborate with the school’s academic team to integrate political science concepts across other subjects where applicable. Participate in faculty meetings to discuss teaching strategies and curriculum improvements.
Ensure classroom management is orderly, fostering an environment where students can ask questions and engage critically with the subject. Attend professional development workshops to stay updated on teaching methodologies and political science advancements.
Qualifications: A postgraduate degree in Political Science or a related discipline. Possession of a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is mandatory. Two years of teaching experience in Political Science or a relevant subject is required.
Experience: Minimum two years in teaching Political Science at the secondary or senior secondary level. Familiarity with CBSE or state board syllabi for Classes 9 to 12 is beneficial.
