- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback, helping them identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop a comprehensive curriculum that meets the needs of our students.
- Contribute to the school's academic planning and policy-making processes.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and communicate with parents about student performance.
- Attend school events and activities, such as debates, quizzes, and cultural festivals, to promote the values of critical thinking and civic engagement.
- Mentor junior teachers and provide guidance on teaching methodologies and subject expertise.
- Take on department-level responsibilities, such as coordinating with other teachers to develop a comprehensive curriculum.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Political Science or a related field (M.A. or M.Sc.).
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree.
- CTET clearance.
- NET or SET qualification is desirable.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a senior secondary school setting.
- Strong subject matter expertise in Political Science, with a focus on Indian Polity and International Relations.
