- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and school committees to stay updated on best practices in dance education.
- Manage and maintain dance equipment, props, and costumes, ensuring they are stored safely and in good condition.
- Mentor and guide student dance clubs, fostering leadership and teamwork among participants.
- Communicate with parents regarding student progress, event schedules, and any special requirements or concerns.
- Uphold the school’s values and code of conduct, promoting inclusivity, respect, and cultural sensitivity within the dance program.
Qualification and experience
Graduate degree required, preferably in Performing Arts or related field. A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting is essential. B.Ed or D.El.Ed is mandatory, while TET/CTET is not required. Candidates should demonstrate strong knowledge of dance techniques, choreography, and stage presentation.
