Your Students
Our English students in Ghaziabad exhibit a wide range of learning levels, from those who require extra support to others who need challenging material. As a PRT English Teacher at Nutan Vidya Mandir, you will be expected to create an inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and deliver English lessons to students in grades 1-5, incorporating differentiated instruction to cater to diverse learning levels.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that are aligned with the English curriculum of the school.
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly to ensure all learners meet the learning objectives.
- Provide support to students who require extra help, such as those with learning disabilities or language barriers.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement English language programs that cater to the needs of all learners.
- Participate in meetings with parents to discuss student progress and provide feedback.
- Use technology to enhance English language learning and engage students in interactive lessons.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Participate in staff development programs to improve teaching skills and stay updated on best practices in English language teaching.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in English or a related field (B.Ed./D.El.Ed. required for teaching positions).
- A Post-Graduate degree in English or a related field (desirable but not essential).
- Experience in teaching English in a school setting (preferably 2 years or more).
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with inclusive pedagogy and best practices in creating an inclusive classroom environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and support students.
- Patience and understanding when working with students who require extra support.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
- Familiarity with technology and its applications in English language teaching.
Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will receive a salary of Rs.15,000 - Rs.30,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Other benefits, such as health insurance and opportunities for professional development, will also be provided.
