Job Description
PRT (Pupil Teacher) for Environmental Studies at Khaitan World School, Ghaziabad
Teach Environmental Studies to students in Classes I to V, integrating hands-on learning with classroom instruction. Develop engaging lesson plans that align with the school’s curriculum while ensuring scientific accuracy and sustainability awareness.
Plan and conduct experiments, field trips, and interactive activities to deepen understanding of ecology, conservation, and climate science. Collaborate with other teachers to design interdisciplinary projects that connect EVS with subjects like science and social studies.
Assess student performance through continuous evaluation, including observations, projects, and periodic tests. Maintain accurate records of student progress and report any learning gaps to the principal or subject coordinator.
Prepare and maintain well-organized teaching resources, including worksheets, visual aids, and digital content to support classroom instruction. Ensure all materials meet the school’s educational standards and are accessible to students with diverse learning needs.
Teach basic first aid and safety protocols, emphasizing environmental hazards and emergency preparedness. Advise students on responsible resource use, waste management, and community engagement for environmental causes.
Key Requirements:
Hold a graduate degree with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Minimum three years of teaching experience, preferably in EVS or a related science subject. Experience in designing experiential learning activities is a plus.
Salary package: Rs.16,000 to Rs.25,000 per month, depending on qualifications and performance. Full-time contract with benefits as per Khaitan World School’s policies.
