Teaching and Classroom Responsibilities
You will deliver structured mathematics lessons aligned with the latest school curriculum for students in grades 6 to 8. Your focus will be on making abstract concepts like algebra, geometry, and trigonometry accessible through interactive and real-world examples. Daily classroom time will be spent explaining problems, solving them step-by-step, and encouraging students to apply mathematical principles in practical scenarios.
You will prepare engaging lesson plans that balance theory with hands-on activities, ensuring students grasp foundational concepts before advancing to more complex topics. Your approach will adapt to different learning speeds, ensuring every student—whether a beginner or an advanced learner—understands key ideas thoroughly. Feedback sessions will help identify areas where students struggle, allowing you to adjust teaching methods accordingly.
Assessment and Progress Tracking
You will conduct regular, informal assessments to gauge student understanding without overwhelming them with formal tests. These could include quick quizzes, group discussions, or problem-solving challenges. Your goal is to identify strengths and weaknesses early so you can reinforce concepts where needed while pushing students who excel further.
You will also document key milestones and progress in student records, ensuring their mathematical growth is tracked systematically. This will help in planning future lessons and addressing any gaps in understanding before they become persistent issues.
Qualifications and Eligibility
A graduate degree in any discipline is required, with a minimum of three years of teaching experience in mathematics at the secondary level. You must hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) to qualify for this role.
Your teaching experience should include hands-on classroom teaching, preferably in a school environment similar to Khaitan World School’s standards. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory for this position, it will be considered favorably if held.
Salary and Employment Details
This is a full-time position offering a monthly salary ranging from Rs.16,000 to Rs.25,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
