Job Overview
Nutan Vidya Mandir invites applications for an experienced PRT Science Teacher to join the senior academic team. The role involves leading Science instruction for primary classes while shaping foundational concepts in students aged 6 to 12. This position requires a graduate with teaching aptitude and at least two years of classroom experience in Science teaching.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver Science lessons aligned with CBSE curriculum for Grades 1 to 5. Integrate activity-based learning through simple experiments and models suitable for young learners. Conduct regular assessments and provide feedback to parents on student progress in Science subjects.
Prepare students for Science exhibitions and inter-school competitions in Ghaziabad. Coach students for board exam–level Science questions in higher primary sections. Collaborate with the Science department to develop resource materials and low-cost teaching aids.
Organize monthly Science quizzes and model-making sessions for Grades 4 and 5. Guide students in preparing for Olympiad-level Science content as per school calendar. Mentor junior teachers in lesson planning and classroom management specific to Science pedagogy.
Required Qualifications
Graduate in any discipline with B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a recognized institution. Minimum two years of Science Teacher Job in Ghaziabad experience in primary or upper primary classes.
TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory. Fluency in Hindi and English with clear communication skills for teaching Science concepts.
Career Opportunities
Experienced candidates may progress to Head of Department (Science) within three years based on performance. Annual increments are structured as per school policy with performance reviews conducted twice a year.
