About This Role
Delhi Public School, Modinagar, is seeking a talented and experienced TGT Art And Craft Teacher to join our team. As a key member of the faculty, the successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Art and Craft to students from grades 6 to 12.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Art and Craft lessons to students
- Develop and implement creative Art and Craft projects
- Assess student progress and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate Art and Craft with other subjects
- Prepare and administer Art and Craft exams and assessments
- Maintain a safe and organized Art and Craft room
- Develop and implement Art and Craft curriculum
- Provide feedback and guidance to students on their Art and Craft work
Who Can Apply
Must Have
- Postgraduate degree in Fine Arts or a related field
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of Art and Craft curriculum and pedagogy
Good to Have
- TET or CTET certification
- Experience in teaching Art and Craft to students of different age groups
- Knowledge of Indian art and craft traditions
Preferred Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Creativity and innovative approach to teaching Art and Craft
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of Rs.25,000 - Rs.45,000 per month. Other benefits include medical insurance, pension plan, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
