What You Will Do

1. Plan and deliver structured Music lessons for classes VI to VIII as per CBSE guidelines.
2. Organize school assemblies and cultural events with student participation.
3. Conduct choir practice and prepare students for inter-school competitions.
4. Teach classical, folk, and light music to build a balanced musical foundation.
5. Use simple instruments like harmonium, tabla, and basic percussion in class.
6. Assess student progress through periodic tests and practical demonstrations.
7. Maintain attendance registers and report student performance to the coordinator.
8. Collaborate with other subject teachers for school fairs and annual functions.
9. Support Nutan Vidya Mandir’s mission of holistic student development through arts.

Eligibility Criteria

Must Have

- Postgraduate degree in Music from a recognized university.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting.
- Working knowledge of Hindi and English for lesson planning and communication.
- Residence or willingness to relocate to Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.

Good to Have

- Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) or Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) qualified.
- Experience in teaching Indian classical or light music to school children.
- Participation in music workshops or seminars for professional growth.
- Familiarity with digital tools for music notation or audio recording.
