ACCOUNTANT Job in Gonda, Uttar Pradesh | School Vacancy
Job Overview
R.s Sainik School is seeking an ACCOUNTANT to manage financial records, ensure compliance, and support administrative decisions. The role plays a key part in maintaining transparency and efficiency in day-to-day operations. Accuracy in financial reporting is critical for smooth functioning of the institution.
What You Will Do
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and ledgers for R.s Sainik School.
Manage day-to-day accounting tasks including receipts, payments, and bank reconciliations.
Handle fee collections, vendor payments, and salary disbursements on time.
Assist in budget preparation and monitor expenses to avoid overspending.
File GST, TDS, and other statutory returns as required by law.
Generate monthly financial statements and present them to the management.
Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
Implement and maintain internal financial controls to safeguard school assets.
Who Can Apply
Must Have
Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, or related field from a recognized university.
Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in an educational institution.
Proficiency in Tally or similar accounting software and MS Office.
Good to Have
Experience in school or NGO accounting.
Knowledge of Uttar Pradesh state financial rules and regulations.
Familiarity with PF, ESI, and other statutory compliance.
Preferred Skills
Strong leadership to guide junior staff and interns in the accounts department.
Excellent communication to explain financial reports to non-finance staff.
Organized approach to manage multiple tasks under tight
Attention to detail to ensure zero errors in financial documents.
Salary and Benefits
Fixed monthly salary between Rs.12,000 and Rs.25,000 based on experience.
Provident Fund and ESI benefits as per government norms.
