About This Role
Gorakhpur Public School is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Professional Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Chemistry to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Chemistry to students from Class 11 to 12. This is a full-time position that requires a commitment to delivering high-quality education to our students.
Day-to-Day Duties
1. Teach Chemistry to students from Class 11 to 12
2. Prepare and deliver lesson plans, exams, and assessments
3. Mark and provide feedback on student work
4. Develop and implement engaging teaching methods
5. Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment
6. Communicate with parents and guardians about student progress
7. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and programs
8. Participate in school events and activities
9. Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal
Required Qualifications
Must Have:
- Postgraduate degree in Chemistry (M.Sc.)
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree
- Valid TET/CTET certification (not required but preferred)
Good to Have:
- Experience in teaching Chemistry at the senior secondary level
- Knowledge of CBSE curriculum and examination pattern
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
