Job Overview
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Physical Education Teacher to join our team at Gorakhpur Public School. As a PGT Physical Education Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching physical education to students from classes VI to XII.
What You Will Do
- Plan and deliver physical education lessons for students from classes VI to XII
- Develop and implement curriculum-based physical education programs
- Conduct sports events and competitions for students
- Maintain sports equipment and infrastructure
- Cooperate with other teachers to achieve school goals
- Prepare students for sports tournaments and competitions
- Develop and implement assessment and evaluation strategies
- Provide individualized attention to students with special needs
- Maintain accurate records and reports of student progress
Who Can Apply
To be eligible for this position, you must have a postgraduate degree in Physical Education or a related field. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is also required. At least 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting is preferred. You should be certified in any one of the following: TET or CTET.
