What You Will Do
- Teach English language to students from classes VI to XII, following the CBSE curriculum.
- Develop and implement innovative English teaching methods to enhance student learning outcomes.
- Prepare and administer English language exams, including board exams and internal assessments.
- Provide coaching and guidance to students preparing for English literature and language papers.
- Conduct parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress and address parent concerns.
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop and implement school-wide English language initiatives.
- Lead English language workshops and training sessions for colleagues and students.
- Develop and maintain English language department resources, including libraries and digital resources.
- Supervise English language department staff and provide guidance and support as needed.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this role, you must possess a B.Ed degree from a recognized university and have at least three years of experience in teaching English language. A TET or CTET certificate is preferred but not compulsory. You should have excellent English language skills, both written and spoken, and be familiar with the CBSE curriculum.
