About This Role
Crestfield International School, a leading educational institution in Gorakhpur, invites applications for the post of TGT Biology Teacher. As a Biology teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Biology to students from Classes 9 to 12.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and deliver Biology lessons to students
- Prepare lesson plans, assessments, and reports
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Develop and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Use digital tools to enhance teaching and learning
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum
- Conduct parent-teacher meetings and maintain records
- Participate in school events and activities
Required Qualifications
Must Have
- Post-graduate degree in Biology or a related subject
- B.Ed/D.El.Ed qualification
- Valid TET/CTET certificate (desirable but not mandatory)
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience
Good to Have
- Experience in teaching Biology to students of Classes 9 to 12
- Strong knowledge of curriculum and assessment requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Familiarity with digital tools and technologies
