About This Role
We are looking for an experienced and qualified PGT Chemistry Teacher to join the faculty of Vikas Global School in Hapur, Uttar Pradesh. - Teach Chemistry to senior secondary students, including theory and practical classes.
- Prepare students for board exams, including setting and marking assignments, tests, and exams.
- Develop and implement lesson plans, curriculum, and assessments to promote academic excellence.
- Conduct laboratory experiments and demonstrations to illustrate key concepts.
- Use technology, such as online resources and educational software, to support teaching and learning.
- Mentor junior teachers and provide guidance on Chemistry teaching and assessment methods.
- Collaborate with other teachers to plan and implement interdisciplinary projects and activities.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the Chemistry department.
- Provide career guidance and counseling to students, helping them explore opportunities in Chemistry-related fields.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students, parents, and other teachers.
- Stay updated with developments in Chemistry education and incorporate new ideas and methods into teaching.
Eligibility (Chemistry-specific degrees and certifications)
To be eligible for this position, you must have a postgraduate degree in Chemistry (M.Sc.) and a B.Ed. or equivalent qualification. You should also have a good understanding of the CBSE syllabus and examination pattern.
