Key Responsibilities
Prepare and deliver daily Science lessons for Classes 6 to 8 using interactive teaching methods.
Conduct regular practical sessions and demonstrations to explain scientific concepts clearly.
Assess student understanding through tests, projects, and assignments on a weekly basis.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, marks, and lesson plans as required by the school.
Collaborate with other teachers to plan interdisciplinary activities and science fairs.
Provide feedback to parents during PTMs and address their concerns about student progress.
Participate in staff meetings, workshops, and school events to support overall school activities.
Ensure lab equipment and materials are properly maintained and safely used by students.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Science with minimum 50% marks from a recognized university.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with Science as a teaching subject.
Minimum 2 years of experience teaching Science at the middle school level.
TET/CTET certification will be an added advantage.
