Katyayan School | Kanpur is seeking a dedicated PGT Fine Arts Teacher to join its vibrant curriculum in Kanpur Nagar. Core Duties
Curriculum Development and Teaching
Plan and implement a structured fine arts curriculum that integrates modern and classical art techniques. Use age-appropriate methods to teach drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art, ensuring engagement and skill progression.
Student Assessment and Guidance
Design and conduct regular evaluations to assess students’ artistic development. Provide constructive feedback, encourage creativity, and help students explore their artistic potential through practical projects and exhibitions.
Classroom Management and Engagement
Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, ensuring all students feel valued and motivated. Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs, including those of students with special requirements.
Collaboration with Faculty
Work closely with other subject teachers to integrate fine arts into broader school activities, such as cultural festivals and extracurricular programs. Participate in department meetings and curriculum reviews to enhance artistic education standards.
Resource and Material Management
Organize and maintain art supplies, workshops, and digital tools required for fine arts instruction. Collaborate with the school’s infrastructure team to ensure proper facilities for creative learning.
Qualification and Experience
A postgraduate degree in Fine Arts with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory. At least four years of teaching experience in fine arts at the secondary or higher secondary level is required. While TET/CTET is not mandatory, a valid teaching certificate is preferred.
Compensation and Location
