Role Summary
Gardenia Public School is seeking a highly qualified and experienced TGT Biology Teacher to join our faculty in Kanpur Sadar, Kanpur Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Biology to students of Class 6 to 10. This is a full-time position that requires a post-graduate degree in Biology with a valid B.Ed./D.El.Ed. degree.
Day-to-Day Duties
1. Plan and deliver lessons on Biology to students of Class 6 to 10.
2. Prepare and distribute study materials, worksheets, and assignments.
3. Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to track student progress.
4. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans.
6. Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of school policies.
7. Supervise students during breaks and ensure their safety and well-being.
8. Participate in school events and activities, such as science fairs and exhibitions.
9. Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment.
Required Qualifications
Must Have:
- Post-graduate degree in Biology (M.Sc./M.A. in Biology or related field)
- B.Ed./D.El.Ed. degree from a recognized university
- Valid TET/CTET certification (not required but preferred)
Good to Have:
- Experience teaching Biology to students of Class 6 to 10
- Familiarity with the CBSE/ICSE curriculum
- Strong knowledge of Biology concepts and pedagogy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
