Job Description

Position Overview
We are seeking a forward-thinking Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) in Physics for our international school in Tier 3, with a strong emphasis on integrating educational technology into teaching practices. The ideal candidate will leverage digital tools and platforms to enhance student engagement, deliver interactive lessons, and assess learning outcomes effectively. The role involves designing and implementing tech-driven pedagogical strategies aligned with the school’s vision of fostering a modern, tech-savvy learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver engaging Physics lessons using a blend of traditional and digital teaching methodologies.
Incorporate cutting-edge educational technology tools such as interactive whiteboards, learning management systems (LMS), virtual labs, and simulation software to enhance conceptual understanding.
Develop and curate digital content, including video lectures, interactive quizzes, and multimedia presentations, to support differentiated instruction.
Utilize data analytics and assessment tools to track student progress, identify learning gaps, and tailor instruction accordingly.
Collaborate with the IT department to ensure seamless integration of technology into classroom activities and maintain digital resources.
Encourage students to use educational apps, online research tools, and collaborative platforms to foster independent learning and critical thinking.
Participate in professional development workshops and training sessions to stay updated on emerging EdTech trends and best practices.
Integrate gamification elements and adaptive learning platforms to increase student motivation and participation.
Facilitate virtual labs and experiments using simulation software to provide hands-on learning experiences in a digital format.
Maintain accurate records of student performance using digital assessment tools and provide timely feedback to students and parents.

Pedagogy Style
Student-centered learning with a strong emphasis on inquiry-based and experiential learning approaches.
Integration of flipped classroom models where students engage with digital content before in-class discussions.
Use of collaborative learning platforms to facilitate group projects and peer-to-peer learning.

Teaching Methodology (Digital tools and platforms)
Utilize Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, or similar LMS platforms for content delivery, assignments, and communication.
Incorporate interactive platforms such as Nearpod, Kahoot!, and Quizizz for formative assessments and gamified learning.
Leverage virtual lab platforms like PhET Simulations, Labster, or similar tools for conducting physics experiments in a virtual environment.
Use digital storytelling tools like Adobe Spark or Canva to create engaging multimedia presentations.
Implement adaptive learning platforms such as Century Tech or Smart Sparrow to personalize learning paths for students.
Incorporate AI-powered tools for personalized feedback and adaptive learning recommendations.

Achieve measurable improvements in student engagement and academic performance through the effective use of technology.
Demonstrate proficiency in using a variety of EdTech tools to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
