Job Overview
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced PGT Philosophy Teacher to join our faculty at St Xavier High Schiil. As a PGT Philosophy Teacher Job in Kushinagar, you will be responsible for teaching Philosophy to students from Class 11 to Class 12. Your primary focus will be on developing critical thinking, analytical skills, and philosophical knowledge among our students.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Prepare and deliver lectures on various Philosophy topics
- Develop and implement lesson plans, assessments, and evaluation methods
- Conduct classes, tutorials, and discussions on Philosophy
- Set and mark assignments, quizzes, and exams
- Maintain accurate student records and report progress to parents
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school development
- Collaborate with other teachers to plan and implement interdisciplinary projects
- Conduct research and stay updated on latest developments in Philosophy
- Supervise and guide students during co-curricular activities
Who Can Apply
To be eligible for this role, you must have a postgraduate degree in Philosophy or a related field from a recognized institution. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is mandatory for teaching positions. CTET or TET certification is preferred but not essential. We are looking for candidates with at least 2 years of teaching experience in Philosophy. Your ability to communicate complex ideas simply and effectively will be an added advantage.
