Role Summary
The City Montessori School is inviting applications for a full-time CLERK position in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. What You Will Do
Manage front desk operations at The City Montessori School, ensuring visitors and parents receive prompt and courteous service. Handle incoming and outgoing mail, courier services, and official documents with accuracy and confidentiality. Coordinate with the principal’s office to prepare reports, circulars, and notices for distribution to staff and parents.
Supervise a team of support staff including peons, attendants, and office assistants to maintain daily workflow. Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to school policies and timelines. Train new recruits on office procedures, record-keeping, and customer service standards.
Maintain all official registers, attendance sheets, and service records as per institutional and regulatory requirements. Prepare salary statements, reimbursement claims, and financial vouchers for submission to the accounts department. Ensure timely processing of leave applications, transfer certificates, and other service-related documents.
Assist in organizing school events, examinations, and parent-teacher meetings by coordinating logistics and resources. Oversee the preparation of examination schedules, seating arrangements, and result compilation with the academic team. Support the admission process by managing inquiry records, fee receipts, and student data entry.
Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on office activities, staff attendance, and resource utilization for senior management review. Liaise with government departments, educational boards, and vendors for official verifications and service requirements. Address grievances and escalations from staff, parents, or students in a timely and professional manner.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduate in any discipline with a postgraduate degree from a recognized university. Minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative or office management role in a school or educational institution. Prior experience in handling official documentation, staff supervision, and record maintenance is essential.
Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel) and basic accounting software is preferred. Candidates with prior experience in The City Montessori School or similar large educational institutions will be given preference. Knowledge of Hindi and English is mandatory for effective communication.
