Computer Lab Assistant Job in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh | School Vacancy — Immediate requirement
About This Role
The City Montessori School seeks a Computer Lab Assistant for its Lucknow campus. The role supports daily lab operations and ensures smooth technology access for students and staff. This is a full-time, non-teaching position with hands-on technical and administrative duties.
What You Will Do
1. Maintain and troubleshoot 50+ computers, printers, and peripherals in the lab.
2. Install, update, and configure software, operating systems, and educational tools.
3. Assist students and faculty with login issues, printer jams, and basic hardware problems.
4. Monitor lab usage, manage time slots, and coordinate access during peak hours.
5. Prepare lab reports on system status, maintenance logs, and inventory for the IT coordinator.
6. Assist in organizing coding workshops and digital literacy sessions as needed.
7. Ensure compliance with safety protocols while handling lab equipment.
8. Coordinate with external vendors for repairs and warranty claims.
Required Qualifications
A postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or MCA is required. Candidates must have at least three years of experience in a similar role. Working knowledge of Windows, Linux, MS Office, and basic networking is essential. Familiarity with educational software and lab management tools will be an advantage.
