You know, I've been looking for a good school for my kids for a while, and I have to say, Delhi Public School in Lucknow has been a great choice. The thing that really stood out to me was their focus on academics. They're very particular about their teachers, they hire the best ones they can find, and you can really tell that they care about what they're doing. The teachers are always available to answer any questions parents or kids might have, and the kids just seem to thrive under their guidance.
The school's location in Dubagga is also really convenient. It's not right in the middle of the city, but it's not too far from it either. The campus itself is beautiful - 2 acres of green space with modern classrooms, labs, and all that jazz. My kids love going there, and I love knowing that they're in a safe and supportive environment. Of course, all schools have their own fees, and in this case, the annual fee is roughly between 1.18 and 1.30 lakhs depending on the class. But trust me, it's worth it for the quality of education you get.
What I also like about DPS is that they're not just about academics. They have a great sports program, which I think is really important for kids to stay active and healthy. They also have all sorts of extracurricular activities, like music, art, and drama, that help kids express themselves and develop their interests. My kids love singing in the school choir, and I'm always amazed by the talent they've discovered. Plus, with its affiliation to the CBSE curriculum and the Cambridge English Assessment program, I feel confident that my kids are getting a well-rounded education.
For me, the biggest selling point of DPS is the community. Everyone seems to know each other, and it's not uncommon to see kids, parents, and teachers all chatting and laughing together. It's a really friendly atmosphere, and I've never felt like an outsider when I've visited the school. And as a parent, it's huge for me to know that my kids are part of something bigger than just their own family. If you're looking for a school in Lucknow, I'd definitely give DPS a try.
