Your Students
As an IIT Chemistry Teacher at The City Montessori School, you will be working with students from diverse learning levels, including those with special needs. You will be required to design and implement inclusive lesson plans that cater to the needs of all learners, promoting a culture of equity and respect in the classroom. Day-to-Day Duties
- Design and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons to students of varying skill levels, incorporating a range of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
- Develop and implement assessment strategies to evaluate student progress and understanding.
- Provide individualized support to students who require extra help, including those with special needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement cross-curricular activities that promote deeper learning.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular feedback to parents and guardians.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Chemistry education and incorporate these into your teaching practices.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote student engagement and motivation in the classroom.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives to promote a culture of inclusivity and respect.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this role, you must have a post-graduate degree in Chemistry or a related field. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is required for teaching positions, and a TET or CTET certification is preferred. At least 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in an IIT-focused institution, is also required.
