Daily Responsibilities

Maintain organized records of student progress and attendance, ensuring transparency in academic tracking. Prepare and submit daily lesson notes and teaching aids, ensuring alignment with the school’s curriculum standards.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Develop and update syllabus-based lesson plans, ensuring alignment with Uttar Pradesh’s educational frameworks and Birla Open Minds International School’s pedagogical approach. Assess student performance through periodic tests, projects, and assignments, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth. Collaborate with the subject coordinator to refine teaching methods, ensuring consistency in Accountancy curriculum delivery across classes. Participate in weekly departmental meetings to discuss teaching strategies and curriculum improvements.
Periodic Responsibilities
Conduct term-end examinations and evaluations, ensuring fair grading and adherence to MCI/NMC guidelines for academic rigor. Organize workshops or guest lectures on emerging trends in accounting, sharing insights with students and peers. Review and update teaching resources, including textbooks, worksheets, and digital content, to reflect current industry practices.
Qualification and Experience
Candidates must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate qualification in Accountancy or a related field. A minimum of two years of teaching experience in Accountancy at the senior secondary level is required. While TET/CTET certification is preferred, it is not mandatory for this role. Strong communication skills and a passion for fostering financial literacy in students are essential.
