Your Students
As a PGT Biology Teacher at Sdk Academy, you will be working with students from diverse learning levels, including those with special needs. You will create an inclusive classroom environment in Lucknow where all learners feel valued and supported. Your students will be from different socio-economic backgrounds, and you will be expected to cater to their unique needs and interests.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans for Biology to students in classes 11 and 12, ensuring differentiated instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
- Use a variety of teaching methods, including lectures, discussions, and hands-on activities, to engage students and promote learning.
- Assess student progress through regular quizzes, tests, and evaluations, providing feedback to help students improve.
- Develop and implement additional resources, such as study guides and online materials, to support students' learning.
- Collaborate with other teachers to ensure a cohesive and integrated curriculum.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the Biology curriculum.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Provide guidance and support to students who need extra help, including those with special needs.
- Participate in school events and activities, such as science fairs and exhibitions.
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment.
Eligibility
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A postgraduate degree in Biology or a related field (M.Sc. or equivalent).
- A B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree.
- A CTET/TET certificate.
- At least 3 years of teaching experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of the CBSE Biology curriculum and exam patterns.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
